Lombardy is a region with a great winemaking tradition. Among the most significant productions we have selected Franciacorta, the Italian Traditional Method par excellence.
In the spellbinding amphitheatre of the morainic hills of Brescia, bordered by Lake Iseo, the Oglio and Mella rivers, and by Mount Orfano, Chardonnay is grown with exceptional results: the sparkling wine derived from these grapes, the Franciacorta, is sheer elegance. The Franciacorta area features a favourable climate for viticulture, while the silty-sandy soil ensures optimal drainage. The winemaking process developed by the wineries that operate in this area and with which we collaborate further enhance the spumante produced, which is known for its sophisticated and velvety texture and for its fragrant notes with intriguing hints of yeast and bread crust.
